This specific issue has connected to any belly dancers hip since the beginning of time. So let's start the topic, with one of my first questions, which are plagued me for years, we entertainers, or are we dancer? Interesting question, because so many women have over the years told me that this is a better dancer than an entertainer. And some dancers have the opinion that we are entertainers dancing on stage, the. So here we have twodifferent opinions and that makes our world go round. The more we will have a certain group or person, say, a way to "their way" is better. This is understandable, because no one can follow a certain path dancers for her or her tracks. With experience, comments and opinions will come life statements of what works and what does not. If this is the building block of criticism? What happens when a community we build by certain groups, dance, dance is criticallyStyles, dance ability and dance halls? How healthy is the air we breathe in our environment if we contaminate it with criticism and censorship? Is this necessary or is doing the opposite, it is clear the wheat from the chafe?
Happen in the course of time for dancers on two things, either they keep pace with the changes or have a look around scratching his head and said: "Where am I? If you're lucky, in the group, which must be kept, I'm sure there are changes thathave taken place that you can not for the care. To tell you the truth I am a little bit of both groups, because I am always and as some has remained as behind me. But sometimes when you get behind you can hear the echoes and whisperings of the walk in front of you and it's really interesting what you can hear the left.
I will never forget, a dance friend of mine said that most of the shows that they had seen recently were simply terrible. As I show in most of these, it has me scratching my headask whether it is a way around me to offend or if they do not think simple. Ah huh, and can only say I'll let it slide but what was interesting that the producers of these shows is a friend of hers, but I'm pretty sure they do not say what she thought. Actually, I wonder what it was about me that they trust me. Sometimes being blind is a good thing.
Experience has taught me that sees primarily packaged in a beautiful body to create a disadvantage ifit comes to equal treatment. The world reacts differently to beautiful people. I experienced the other side of the coin, when I was rehearsing with a friend for a show we were doing together. She is very conspicuous, and provided the band, she and the kind of forgot about me. After a while of dealing with this situation, I had to laugh because the musicians crowded around my friend chatting with her. Before I knew it was all ready to go, and we have not yet rehearsed. My danceFriend had no desire to rehearse, so that everyone decided to go home. From behind into the abyss I told them in a loud voice that I wanted to rehearse, and we were not leaving. Suddenly I was again visible and clear to everyone that I am also in the room.
As women, we are looking harder at beautiful women, because we feel, an advantage over us? Or do we want to help them be successful, because we want to see the symbol of our dance in a beautiful woman? Our dance form is actually womenfriendly? When I say, friendly women, I mean all types of women. Have we as women censor our belly dancing picture?
Many women want to be known, but they can handle it when it first gets a dancing friend? Women Gage, as they do from other dancers who are on their level of success. This is where I have seen lurking criticism. You know what I mean, rolls his eyes, eyes appear on this site, at an alarming rate and the overall look of the antipathy comes over his face. At this point, even if a dancer does notthe reluctance of the blur would keep me well through another service done too. Who at this point is a disadvantage? This happens especially when the dance style of what a dancer is preferred otherwise. Are there any rivalries between the dance styles? Let's be honest, yes, of course, is also available. With the various styles following change, especially in the belly dancing costume. Our belly dance costume is almost like a rite of passage for women, especially when her costume for the first timeIs the costume, who we can hang with? If the dancers have in common is the saving grace for us all that the audience can see how diverse we can. So maybe the shows that I presented in other dance styles performed better than that, learn something about my dance. How can we educate our audience to dance on the various elements of our, if we are not on the changes that are accepted in our world of dance itself?
There are opportunities that I felt like a fish out of water had been. I wasPerformance in a show last year, together with the dancers on the stage and it hit me like the curtains open, that I was the only cabaret dancers on the stage was with tribal dancers. I looked to my right and overwhelmed as to my left and from this kaleidoscope of colors. It was the most amazing site I can remember, and I could only imagine the jerks in the audience to see the array of colors unfolding before their eyes. I knew about this particular show that our timechanged. The troupe is very popular especially now with the dynamic angular tribal mood. Todays'dancers are willing to take more risks and impose limits of the traditionalists. Every generation has to make their own way and how they will do there dance to the old ways of tack by holding back. Always solo through for me for an art because it requires perseverance and courage to carry out Infront by people. So you can imagine, going out and after the implementation datewas filled with dancers in line with grace and perfect timing. Your soul needs to be ready until the whole stage. But I came to the realization that dance is dance, and if we did not try to censor and to define them as we allow it, they can in the way that she needs to grow.
My next question has been on the front burner for a while, as the clubs deal with the new dance styles are so popular? The music has changed so this does not help with the diversity of dancespecies present in our midst. Where does the tradition and change together are there? I think that is where the stage comes in. It is a place where the dancers do not criticize each other, at least until the end of the show. Creative expression is usually harder judged by our own insecurities, but when I show stories of inappropriate choreography belongs. As we live, life is in so many different ways, it bound to happen this creative expression that is caught in between the principles of individualand values. Shock value is not usually what people go to a dance show for especially if they are bringing family and friends. I remember a part of a show where a dancer had a flashlight and her dance was about off by her flashlight on and created. I did not get it, nor the audience, but she had a really good time, which was I must admit that worrying for me. So an idea which can range from the bizarre intersection and make a whole audience scratching their heads. Once I wasDance in a restaurant and my coat was in my underwear hidden (false). And part of the first song I danced with my right cheek says hello to everyone. I feel a breeze, but when I did it so I thought it was normal. The waitstaff broke into peals of laughter and one of the waitresses came over and pulled my skirt, thank God! Just so you know all the owners of the restaurant I shouted through the bathroom door, that started my music ...... ugh! But I start dancingon time with my music, although I was what the customers I show never had the intention to give them. Fortunately, there were no dancers for miles to giggle at me or call me that "Oh, I'm so embarrassed for you" look. The waitstaff was enough. Life is a comedy where the jokes on you.
If we all pull together, and create a community feel that each and every one of us make sure, when our sense of diversity is not just for our viewers, but also to make ourselves. Self creativity, selfishor blind to the comfort of others is the real problem here. We live in a world where we want to blow our own horn, but we must understand that we fit well with a community that represents all of us. Therefore, we must understand that our new generation of dancers are to be brought in their opinions about the world.
There is also the world view that it is already for a year and if we can bring together the old and the new as our future a mixed bag of ideas and styles that complimentother without clashing. There is a quote that says that a critic is a man who knows the way but can not drive a car.
Sometimes we go and other times we sit in the backseat. But either way the goal is to make our hopes and dreams in one piece together. We represent a culture that reflects the realities of our dance and work together every day. In a way we have always been different, perhaps we do not know. It seems to me, diversity is the only thing we all have in common andGood to know, that makes the view from the back of the car or the driver's seat, the more beautiful.
