How to Paint Abstract Art

Do you want to create abstract art, but the feeling that you do not know where should I start? Here are some ideas to get you started:

Start traditionally move by copying from life and gradually into the abstraction. When I was young, I drew and painted portraits, still lifes and landscapes. Sometimes I copied from a photograph or a reproduction of a foreign art. The goal was represented at this time what I saw as closely as possible. It was not until my late teens that I "abstract" beganor away from reality. I started with still an issue, but I did not feel bound to represent it, just to use them to base for my own purposes.

All art is abstract in the sense that it is not the object itself back. Many who have become "abstract artist" painting is an issue, in fact, but free stylization of this issue. If you want to paint "abstract", but have difficulties to find out, as have the canvas approach, try an issue before you paint andabstracting it.

If you are painting from life, for example, try squinting eyes until all you can see the vague outlines of the subject. Forget the details. Take your brush or pencil and sketch in the broad shapes and contours. Or take a very small part of the subject and blow it up to the whole plan.

Now you be back to see how your composition unfolds, how the forms take shape and are interesting in and of itself, without reference to your topic.Keep changing the game with your composition, adding and subtracting shapes, colors, the strengthening of the lines. Follow what draws you in, scrap what does not. Working quickly, and then stop and study what you have.

Another way to get the abstract art of painting is to use your emotions to get started. Listening to music is a way I improve my feelings when I paint. Sometimes I choose music to reflect my current mood: New Age, jazz or classical for reflective moods, Rock for the strong, drivingEmotions, and so on. Sometimes developing a special mood to hear how I empathize with the lyrics of a song.

Music is rhythm and tempo can also have an impact on the quality and the speed with which you are applying a brush or spatula to the canvas. How do you apply the color reflected in the results, so that a musical rhythm of the track you hear how you made it.

Try this experiment: Think of yourself as an instrument or tool of the music in my head.Relax and let the music select colors, control the movement of the hand and create the content.

Besides music, emotion itself is a prerequisite for the process of painting. Non-representational art is the best way to express emotions directly, because it is not by trying to "true" to a particular object is limited. When you wake up, angry at the world, you can paint a rugged swath of red on the canvas, directly expressing your anger. Color, line, form - everything in your painterArsenal is available to say exactly how you feel.

One day when I was in a particularly dark mood, I've always felt "bloody secret" as I painted. But I wanted this feeling to be both exposed and hidden at the same time. The result was a painting I entitled "tied in a loop." I painted the bloody secret in thick red paint in the middle of the canvas, but I tied them in a bow and beautifully framed in pink. Thus, the blood was there, but it was my secret.

If you feelstrong emotions of any kind, express it try to jump over the color, line and form on canvas. But remember that using the method you to begin an abstract painting, you must pay attention to the composition, interest, energy and focus in order to be successful.
